I deeply believe in the power of optimism, and in sending good energy out into the world. Since my boys were little, I’ve reminded them that they need to start each morning believing it’s going to be a good day. I have always tried to infuse my jewellery with that sentiment. Objects carry our wishes and emotions with them — especially gifted objects — and wherever you land on the spiritual scale, there is no denying the power of a kind message from a friend to lift our spirits. And even the most jaded cynic admits the science behind the placebo effect.

And so, in that spirit of optimism, I have chosen the sender of this wish to receive a pair of Lucky bracelets for themselves and a loved one. But I could have so easily chosen many others — as you can see, we received so many beautiful wishes. I hope they all come true.
